What type of data we collect

Personal information

We may collect personal information when you register for the newsletter, request a demo, participate in surveys, purchase our product or service, submit bugs or contact customer service. Non personal information

We may collect non personal Information when you visit our website, knowledge base or use our softwares and services. When you use sidecar-data.ch, third-party service providers such as Google Analytics may receive and record non personal information from cookies or similar technology from your browser and mobile device.
Wikipedia: Cookies are a small piece of data stored on the user’s computer by the web browser while browsing a website to uniquely identify and store their preferences. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies.

How we use your data

We do NOT sell the personal information you provide to us either when you register on our websites or when you do business with us.

We use personal information for internal and service-related purposes only and may provide it to third parties to allow us to offer or support sidecar.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’)

For users that register on our website (if any), you may update or delete your personal information at any time through your profile or by sending an email with your request to info@sidecar-data.ch. We will apply the change as soon as possible and send you a confirmation when it’s done.

This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us.
